Music at St. Pauls
Music plays an important role in the lives of the members of St. Paul's Church. The Chancel Choir is a hard working and dedicated group. Choir-sponsored events and concert/services are very well supported by the membership of St. Paul 's.
Our choir is very capable of performing difficult and challenging music and often sings a cappella music for morning worship and special services. We are also fortunate to have an Aeolian-Skinner organ, built by one of the premier organ builders in the world, which has been maintained in excellent condition.
The choir has been privileged to perform with accomplished musicians associated with world-renowned organizations such as the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Curtis Institute of Music.
St. Paul's has hosted free community concerts by Chester Children's Chorus, Widener University Chorus and Lincoln University Chorus.
St. Paul's also has two octaves of hand bells for the creation of a Hand Bell Choir which will enhance our anthems and worship.
